How it works

Initial Steps

If you are interested in the possibility of our working together, I welcome your phone call or email. The first step is to discuss any questions you have, and then to meet for an initial consultation period (usually about 3 sessions), where we will talk about what brings you to therapy, how I may be able to help, and what working together would entail. We will decide together on a plan, including frequency of sessions.

Investment

A 50-minute individual session is $175.

A reduced rate may be available for those meeting 2x/week or more. Please contact me to learn more.

I retain some spaces in my practice for individuals needing a reduced fee. If this is a need of yours, please call me to inquire about availability.

Insurance

I am currently in network with Cigna (Evernorth). If you have out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide the documentation necessary for you to submit to request reimbursement for our sessions. I also welcome questions and further discussion about insurance involvement. Please consult your individual insurance policy regarding your benefits.

I am not able to work with those who are covered by Medicaid (even if there is also another insurance plan).

“No Surprises” Act and Good Faith Estimate

As of January 1, 2022 new legislation is in effect which requires healthcare providers to provide an estimate of treatment costs for patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance benefits. This is called a Good Faith Estimate. Please read more about the No Surprises Act and your rights to a Good Faith Estimate here.

Payment

I invoice at the start of each month for the calendar month prior. Payment is due no later than the 10th of each month, and can be paid by check or debit/credit card.
